Water supply disruption in North West Trinidad on Tuesday

Residents in Carenage served by the School Street Booster Station can expect a disruption in their water supply all day, on Tuesday 25th August 2020, from 6.00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Residents in Carenage served by the School Street Booster Station can expect a disruption in their water supply all day, on Tuesday 25th August 2020, from 6.00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

According to an advisory issued by the Water and Sewerage Authority, the disruption has become necessary in order to facilitate pipeline interconnection works associated with the ongoing refurbishment of the facility.

As such, customers in parts of North West Trinidad served by the School Street Booster Station will experience an interruption in their pipe borne water supply.

Areas to be affected include:

Along the Western Main Road from La Horquette Valley Road to Tucker Valley Road—inclusive of all side streets.

WASA customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas, in accordance with pipe borne water supply schedules.
