Water supply disruption in parts of Arima

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) will be conducting critical pipeline interconnection works at the corner of Aripo Road, therefore customers served by the Aripo Water Treatment Plant will experience a disruption in their pipe borne water supply today, Thursday 13th January 2022 between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Details follow in this release from Wasa:

The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers served by the Aripo Water Treatment Plant, that there will be a disruption in their pipe borne water supply today, Thursday 13th January 2022, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. This has become necessary in order to carryout critical pipeline interconnection works at the corner of Aripo Road.

Areas affected include:

Parts of Arima inclusive of Cocorite Road (between Henry Street and Malabar Branch Road), Malabar Road, Malabar Phase 2, Wallerfield, Santa Rosa, Pinto Road, Train Line and Smith Lands

Customers are advised to manage their water use efficiently, as it may take up to 24hours thereafter for the restoration of the scheduled pipe borne water supply.
