Police are yet to establish a motive for the killing.

The sister of a woman police officer was killed in front of her home in Enterprise, as she was leaving to drop her teen daughter to school, early on Thursday morning.

Reports are that 38-year-old Alana Mohammed was reversing her black Toyota Corrolla out of her yard at Dass Branch Road, when gunmen opened fire on her.

The car was shot up more than six times.

Alana Mohammed was fatally struck. Her daughter, 14, was shot and wounded.

The daughter, accompanied by her father—who is a car business owner—was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Alana Mohammed is the sister of a woman police officer, who is a member of the Inter Agency Task Force.

No motive has been established yet into the killing.

Police are said to be still on the scene at this time.
