A 41-year-old woman allegedly was raped after she refused to accept $400 cash to have sex with her rapist, on Sunday June 6th.
According to a police report, the woman reported that at about 11:30 pm on Sunday, she was in a room at an apartment building located at Mayfield Road in North Valsayn, when a man who was unknown to her came into the room and offered to pay her TT$400 to have sex with him. The man is described as being of African descent, 5 feet 8 inches tall, brown-skinned, with a fat stocky build, a corn-row hair style and wearing a grey Jersey and a pair of grey pants.
The woman told police she refused the man’s demand, and he reportedly held her down on the bed, took off her underwear and had sex with her against her will.
